Australian Heavy Equipment Recovery Company Saves The Day After Excavator And Bull Dozer Got Stuck In Mud

A heavy equipment recovery company was able to save the day after an excavator and a bulldozer got stuck in mud. Ross Hopper's company, Australian Heavy Recovery Specialists, was called in because he himself has more than 23 years of experience in the recovery of all kinds of equipment in any type of situation, whether the equipment had fallen down steep embankments or is submerged in mud or water. Ross Hopper has the ability to quickly evaluate the situation, develop a solution, and organize a way to recover the equipment.

A Queensland contracting company was due to finish a five month contract in which they were going to remove 30,000 cubic meters of sediment from the Mary River near Maleny. Unfortunately, workers found themselves in the different situation in which a 45 ton excavator had to be removed from the river. The excavator stuck in mud was almost fully submerged in the water.

The company contacted Australian Heavy Recovery Specialists, who specializes in recovering heavy equipment, and explained the situation to him. The manager was unable to explain how the excavator had managed to get stuck, nor why they also had a dozer stuck in mud. It appeared that the ground had become unstable and that the drivers of the two machines had unsuccessfully attempted to take their machines through a patch of mud just after work had started for the day.

Ross Hopper was ready to take up the challenge. They could tell that the company had been unsuccessful in trying to remove the equipment themselves, but Ross had his own heavy equipment that would be able to free both the machines. He also understood the urgency of the situation. Should he not be able to pull the machines back out, the damage would have been far more significant, as the Mary River levels were set to rise again. He had to make sure, therefore, that he could get the machines out before they would be fully submerged.

Ross suggested attaching cables to the machines so that they could be pulled out of the river. This was an extensive job but Australian Heavy Recovery Specialists were able to recover the excavator and bulldozer stuck in mud. As a result, the contracting company was finally able to continue its work and fulfill its contract.
